Wasting my time

I take the mirror

and give a glance

someone talks to me

and I laugh

watching my face I discover

wrinkles around my eyes

for the first time I see

I am amazed

it is as if someone else

has come to laugh at me

to say “hello”

to me and to my life

I laugh again to verify

they are there, there´s no doubt

aging has arrived

What I enjoy listening most in life are the sounds nature gives to us when we stay among nature and the quiet. I love to hear the different sounds a horse does as I rode over different roads, on the ground, the stones or crossing the water in the mountains. The whilsting and fluttering of birds among the trees and bushes are amazing. Sitting by a river is like staying in a different world, the river just talks to us with different rippling. There is no pleasure like that of listening to the sounds of silence. The best way to listen to our heart is to stay in touch with those sounds nature give to us with great generosity.

Lo que más disfruto en la vida son los sonidos que nos da la naturaleza cuando estamos en ella en quietud. Aún puedo oír los diferentes sonidos que hace un caballo cuando cabalgamos por diferentes caminos, ya sea en la tierra, en las piedras o cruzando agua en las montañas. El silbido y revoloteo de los pájaros entre los árboles y los arbustos son increíbles. Sentarse al lado del río es un mundo diferente, el río simplemente nos habla con sus diferentes murmullos. No hay placer igual al de escuchar los sonidos del silencio. La mejor forma de escuchar nuestro corazón es estar en contacto con los sonidos que la naturaleza nos entrega con generosidad.
