The wall

I lean on the wall

I ear through the wall

The wall separates me

The wall embraces me

we destroy visible walls

we build invisible walls

Walls to live in

Walls to die in

A wooden wall I like

A cement wall I dislike

I prefer a broken wall

To peep at you through a hole

Sandra, there is a lot of insight here. I too like knotholes and broken swatches in the walls. I looked through one this week.
Of course our invisible walls have holes. I try to keep mine patched good. I enjoy looking for holes in the other's invisible walls.
Do you have any?

I, too, like a broken wall. There is something very interesting in looking carefully at how a wall is broken and what remains.

The compulsion to see and be seen takes down many a wall.

Chinks in every wall. Oh to find them!

I really like the idea of a broken wall to peek through. I wonder if that's what poems are?
