Strange word

when learning a  language
I open my luggage
I  keep new connotations
with different perceptions
sometimes I can not foresee
how difficult it will be
letters make me confused
I feel my mind is abused
a word like weird takes time
to establish into my mind

language can easily misled or confuse, I like use of the word weird, it makes the whole poem more meaningful

gorgeous poem. Words are worlds, and they offer us as much as they can before we are confounded by them.

Lovely one. Not a weird take. Infact a wonderful take on prompt

Yes, this is very clever, and also very creative.

Weird hides within it "i drew", and that is what you did here, you drew a wonder picture of a strange word, and allowed it to be heard --- without prejudices from your other wonderful words! Now that's creative!

I envy those that speak more that one language. I loved this take on the prompt. Thanks for the visit to Old Grizz

Sandra, you would have a hard time guessing how many times I have 'studied' Spanish. I never get very far along before I stop.

Sometimes I have a hard time even spelling 'weird', it is a weird word.

I like your rhyme, it sneeked up on me.

I am glad of the comments about "this word" all that avoids communication will be "weird" and if God punished us with this it was a big punishment.......:)(I take the opportunity to apologyze for my mistakes......)one of the difficult things for me in english is the use of prepositions...

encantado de conocerle tambien(sorry my spanish isn't great) but I love the expression enchanted to know you, and your world of verbal adventures. You really should join our Czech circus, it's more a frame of mind between friends(wherever they may be), we could use a good juggler of words.Love your poems and graphics

in the words of the great Mark E Smith...you don't have to be weird to be WEIRD!

Sandra.if dijo...

Hi ...the primate.......I am thinking about that.....it is right weirdness depends on many things...it is not acting but just being...:)
